MISSION CRITICAL
“Uptime” is a measure of system reliability and relates to the percentage of time a machine – typically computer servers – remain functional and in operation.
Data centres are unique buildings in that each building system and sub-system is consistently deployed with the same uptime objective, in satisfying distinctive Tier requirements, relating as they do to Uptime Institute or Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA-942) topologies.
At Concept Commissioning we recognise Uptime as being an absolute necessity to our clients and indeed, clients of their own. We understand the importance of our clients’ Service Liability Agreements (SLAs) with their clients and what it takes to manage the commissioning of a concurrently maintainable and fault tolerant building.
With Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer credentials and experience of managing the commissioning on multiple Tier III and Tier IV facilities for major data centre operators Australia-wide, Concept Commissioning are amongst leading industry experts in this field.
The term Mission Critical can also be applied to facilities such as hospitals, where patients on life support machines are susceptible to system/equipment failure or disruption of any kind. With hospital experience dating back to 2008, Concept Commissioning also appreciate the level of quality required throughout the commissioning process on this type of facility.
